About Us
Terry Lynn Gall, Ph. D.
is an associate professor with the Faculty of Human
Sciences at Saint
Paul University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Terry
is a professor and trainer in the Masters program
in Pastoral Counselling. In addition to teaching courses
on research methodology and professional standards and
ethics in counselling, she is involved in the training
of fundamental counselling skills and attitudes to first
year M. A. students. Terry is actively engaged in research
on the issue of spirituality and health. She focuses
on the role that various spiritual factors (e.g., hope)
play in an individuals adjustment to illness and
other life stressors such as childhood trauma.

Manal Guirguis Younger, Ph. D.
is an associate professor with the Faculty of Human
Sciences at Saint Paul University. Manal is the Director
of the Pastoral Studies program. In addition she is
a professor and trainer in the M.A. program in Pastoral
Counselling. Specifically, she trains students in basic
counselling skills during the first year practicum.
Manals primary areas of research are palliative
care and homelessness. She specializes in issues related
to death and dying in the context of homelessness and
poverty. As well, her research involves developing and
evaluating alternative models of care delivery to populations
with special needs.

Judith Malette, Ph.D.,
is an associate professor with the Faculty of Human
Sciences at Saint Paul University. Further, Judith is
a clinical psychologist and has her own private practice.
She is a professor and trainer in the M.A. program of
Pastoral Counselling and teaches fundamental and advanced
counselling skills to first year and second year French
students, respectively. She has also taught theoretical
courses such as Theories of Counselling.
Judith conducts qualitative research on the spiritual
dimensions of Life Review. So far, she has carried out
research with the elderly and with individuals in their
forties. She has also studied the relationship between
the images of God and the images of the self. Finally,
she is part of a team of researchers investigating the
relationship between personality styles and learning
styles.
